To provide effective and efficient administrative support to the role of the HR Manager, based in Cape Town
Tasks include filing and all general administration
Citing as the guardian of all regional personnel files
Process and update leave on Absalom
Process all WCA and disability claims
Assist on the admin of loans, advancements, and liaise with payroll on any deductions to be made
Assist in the people processes, including but not limited to the Recruitment process
Handle all maternity leave issues
Take minutes where applicable
Liaise on all payroll issues directly and discretely with Payroll
Co-ordinate with First Choice and Health and Safety where applicable
Provide any relevant admin assistance to the Gm’s and line Managers
Filing, including opening new files and auditing existing files
Guarding the contents of the personnel files
Assist the HR Manager with admin on a daily basis
Assist the HR Manager to cope with the demands of the DC’s on a regional basis
At all times act within fiduciary duty to the employer, upholding the values of the company
Professional completion of all tasks
Professional and open manner with all staff and open levels of communication
Ability to harbour safe HR environment for all staff, on all levels
Accurate correspondence, and ability to operate with speed and accuracy
Multi-tasking and multi-skilling
Availability for HR Consultations when the need arises

Inherent Requirements:
Matric
2 years relevant HR experience
Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources
English – verbal and written
Experience in the company’s policies and procedures an advantage
Experience in warehousing or supply chain would be an advantage
Team player
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to adapt easily to changing circumstances
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
Ability to bring calm and always hold a sunny disposition
Ability to work within sometimes changing time tables
Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment
